South Alabama has announced its full men’s basketball schedule for the 2023-24 season, which begins Nov. 6 vs. Mobile in the Mitchell Center.

Richie Riley’s Jaguars play 12 non-conference games, including dates at Alabama Nov. 14 and at Maryland Nov. 25. South Alabama plays at Buffalo on Nov. 11 in the previously announced MAC/Sun Belt Challenge.

South Alabama will host the Jaguar Classic Nov. 16-19, with games vs. Nicholls, Denver and SIU-Edwardsville. Also on the slate are non-conference home games with Lynn (Nov. 21), Spring Hill (Dec. 9) and Alabama A&M (Dec. 21), plus road games at Jacksonville State (Nov. 30) and Mercer (Dec. 6).

The Jaguars’ Sun Belt Conference schedule, which was announced in August, begins Dec. 30 at Old Dominion. The conference home opener is Jan. 4 vs. Appalachian State.

South Alabama went 19-15 in 2022-23, reaching the championship game of the Sun Belt tournament. The Jaguars return only a handful of key players from last year’s team, including guard Tyrell Jones, 3-point specialist Judah Brown and forward Marshall Kearing.
